The deadline for abstract submittal is MAY 31, 2010.

Presenters will be notified of acceptance by JUNE 30, 2010

Also, the hotel reservation link is now live and coded to offer the TRTR/IGORR conference room rate of 84USD/night.

The meeting will be held during the week of September 19 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Knoxville, Tennessee hosted by Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL)

Some early news about the next IGORR Conference :

After the fruitful meeting held in Beijing last October, the steering committee has decided to have the next IGORR conference combined with the US TRTR community next September 2010 in Knoxville (TN-USA).

The organisation is going on thanks to our US colleagues and we now have a TRTR/IGORR website. At the moment, it is very basic and we will continue to build it out over time. (A call for paper for abstract submission will be coming soon)

"IGORR will continue to seek interaction with other organizations representing research reactor operators and users, including university reactors, the IAEA, and the European research reactor community".
Meetings would be held about every 2 years. They rotate usually through American, European and Pacific locations.I
